So my first week back at slimming world.

It didn’t really go as planned. Well that was the problem I hadn’t really planned out my meals. So what ended up happening was basically a non slimming world week. I was very naughty with th Easter weekend! So much delicious chocolate that I was unable to resist. We also spend Easter Sunday with family and I indulged in chocolate, roast dinner, pudding, cheese and wine!! Oops!! But it was Easter.

So understandably I was really dreading the weigh in.

Luckily by some amazing fluke (or the breastfeeding effect!) I have lost 1.5lbs this week. Not a great amount of course, but considering my indiscretions I was really chuffed my this.

Stayed for group after the weigh in, which was really useful. Got some ideas for SW friendly breakfasts to try including overnight oats and baked oats.

But don’t want to go through the same fear pre weigh in next week so I am going to plan plan plan!

I’ve got a slimming world planner that I never used from previous, so I have started to use this to plan out my meals for the week and write down each day what I have actually eaten.

Although Easter is over, there is still lots of my little ones eggs and chocolate that he is yet to have in the house, so temptation is still there! Will have to try really hard to abstain and have put them out of my reach to help with this!

Weight loss goal for next week

I hope to lose 2lbs next week, obviously more would be great, but I don’t want to set unrealistic targets and then be disappointed. Hopefully I can achieve this.

    You’ve done very well in your first week considering it was easter. I think a 2lb target for next week is sensible and achievable x
